Unemployment Change

The Unemployment Survey released by the Spanish Government shows the number of unemployed workers added during the previous month. It is a leading indicator for the Spanish economy. If the number is negative, it indicates an expansion within the labor market. An increase in the figure is seen as negative (or bearish) for the Euro, while an decrease is seen as positive (or bullish).
